Somewhere there is no sound
It is lost under the pressure of nature
Only two icebergs colliding with each other can be heard
The melting ice floe bumps against the winding
The glow of the rising sun penetrates the rays of dawn
There is only the sound of impenetrable being
The Art Connections Foundation, publisher of the album, presents Kuyavian bohemia in an electronic edition: Łubin – Zatoka białych niedźwiedzi.
„Zatoka Białych Niedźwiedzi” (White Bear Bay) is an album of 7 ambient tracks that take listeners on a journey to Spitsbergen – an island of frost and mystery. Rafal Kolacki and Grzegorz Kazmierski's project is created by the sounds of electronics, guitar and elements of field recording. This experiment in the genre of drone music gives voice to the boundlessness and puts in the center a place that is geographically located on the edge of the world.
The premiere of the album took place on May 24, 2024, at Toniebajka in Bydgoszcz, which was part of the atmosphere and spirit of the event. The album is available on Bandcamp, where it can be listened to and purchased in various formats.
